I Listened To…

A Court of Thorns and Roses part 1 & 2 by Sarah J. Maas  ★★★★☆

It had been a quite while since I last listened to an audiobook and after reading listening to ACOTAR I realized why: I just hadn’t found the right book(s)! I had ACOTAR on my Storytel bookshelf for a while and out of sheer desperation for a new book to lose myself in, I just put it on. And I’m glad I did, because ACOTAR is one of those series that will be one of my favorites for the rest of my life. The last two series that ignited the fangirl in me that much were Harry Potter and The Hunger Games, so you can imagine how great it was to lose myself in another series like that again!

Speaking of audiobooks: I sometimes catch myself saying that I’m reading a book, in stead of listening to it (my boyfriend likes to correct me on that one!). I also saw an interesting poll about it on Goodreads. But for me, reading a book and listening to the audiobook are the same thing! Because whether I am reading or listening to a book, I enjoy it just as much. A big bonus for me is that I sometimes have a problem with winding down when I know there’s dishes waiting for me in the kitchen or when there’s laundry to be done -adulting sucks sometimes!-. And now I can enjoy a book while doing those tedious things 🙂 I’ve said this (MANY times) before, but audiobooks are such an enrichment to my life! I can definitely recommend Storytel if you’re looking for an audiobook provider other than Audible.

Aaand another month has passed! Oh my gosh, would you please stop flying, Time? Thanks! XD

Despite me whining about time flying in every single Month in Review post, I am very excited for March, because I have a lot of fun things planned! This month I am…

Hi there and welcome back! ^-^/ I know we’re almost halfway through February, but I totally forgot to write a January in Review post! Bit cringy maybe, but I decided I wanted to post one either way. I am however going to drop the Monthly Goals bit as I’ve noticed that my Monthly Goals stay mostly the same. That must be a boring read after a while, right? So from now on, I will just be reviewing what I’ve been doing each month and make it a little more film, series and games related, as these are the things I love to write about the most.

As you can probably tell, I’m still trying to figure out how and about what to blog. I hope you’ll bear with me as I figure this out c:
